Suse Brettin is a researcher at the Division of Gender and Globalization at the Humboldt University, Berlin. By researching on food and water she tries to bring together questions of gender, ecology and economy. Her interests lie in exploring alternative food networks and analysing the linkages between conceptions of nature, gender and sustainability.
Meike Brückner is a researcher at the Division of Gender and Globalisation, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Meike’s research focuses on critical agri-food studies, food sovereignty, biodiversity and participatory / feminist research methods. Her current research investigates practices and strategies of agency and resistance in producing and consuming African Indigenous Vegetables in Kenya.
Christine Bauhardt is professor and head of the Division of Gender and Globlisation at the Faculty of Life Sciences. She holds a PhD in Political Science and specialized in Spatial Planning. Her research focusses on Feminist Political Ecology, post-growth societies and sustainable livelihoods in the global North.
